Blue Colbolt Discus
Symphysodon aequifasciata also known as the colbolt blue discus. Often referred to as the pinnacle fish of the freshwater aquarium hobby,the discus is a highly sought-after fish. The cobalt blue discus is a peaceful fish. These fish will get along with a wide range of community fish. Slow moving fish such as Cardinal tetras, German blue rams, Corydoras and other common slow-moving peaceful fish are their best tank mates. They should be fed a food quality pellet or flake food. Should also be supplemented with blood worms and brine shrimp, both of which we have in stock at ShowtimeAquatics.com. They also love plants in the aquarium along with driftwood. Discus are schooling fish and should be kept in a group minimum of 3-5.!
